At 7:30 p.m., police responded to the dealership at 330 County Avenue and found Xazier Valle, who matched the description of the car thief, Chief Dennis Miller said.
Police pursued Valle on foot after he tried to run from officers and were soon able to apprehend him and take him into custody, Miller said.
Valle was charged with criminal attempt to commit theft and was issued a complaint summons, Miller said.
